Our Gas Safe and OFTEC registered team of Engineers work with all leading manufacturer boilers and can diagnose and repair all Gas, Oil and LPG appliances. We aim to see all of our customers with broken boilers on the same day you call, in order of priority. We have access to all parts either on the van or within 48 hours.

 

Boiler servicing

Annual boiler servicing is a wise precaution, we can ensure that your current system is operating to peak performance, ensure against Carbon Monoxide leaks and prolong its lifespan. Regular maintenance can also help identify any faults which may cause further damage or breakdowns which can be expensive and never welcome.

When the boiler is serviced, the engineer will complete some basic tests, if the test results are outside the approved parameters the engineer will have to complete a full service in which the boiler is fully stripped down. In most cases the test results will be acceptable and a full service will not be required. On some modern boilers, when a full strip down and service is required, certain parts are necessary such as the burner seal.

When servicing an oil boiler it is our company policy to replace the oil nozzle. We will need to order this part prior to the service and as they vary from boiler to boiler we will also need to know the make and model in order to ensure we have the correct one on the engineers van.

We recommend that you get your boiler serviced during the summer months to ensure its reliability during the winter months, but if you notice any of the warning signs below you should arrange for a Gas Safe registered engineer visit to look at your appliance as soon as possible.

  • Your gas appliance is not working properly.
  • Your appliance is burning with a lazy yellow flame instead of a crisp blue flame.
  • You can see black marks or stains on or around your gas appliances.
  • Your pilot light keeps going out.
  • There is increased condensation in the room.
